[12] Pablo Carreno Busta (ESP) vs [29] Diego Schwartzman (ARG)  – An all-Argentine and an all-Spanish final is possible.  I have doubted Schwartzman at every turn so in a kiss of death, I am picking him to win this match.

[17] Sam Querrey (USA) vs [28] Kevin Anderson (RSA) – Querey won in Mexico after reaching the Wimbledon semifinal round.  Querrey was up a break in the 4th set vs. Cilic at Wimbledon.  It looked like he might be one set from a major final.  Now, Querrey is 6 sets away from a major final.  He looks to be the form horse of these 4 quarter finalists and is the only one of them to reach a major semifinal.  Anderson can win this match and did beat Andy Murray at the US Open in 2015.  I don’t think Anderson will be overawed by the opportunity ahead of him.  I expect a lot of service holds from each man, but as I stated earlier, Querrey has a lot of good wind at his back.
