Dear Readers,

A lot has happened with Tennis Abides since it launched 6 years ago.  I had written for Tennis-X prior to striking out on my own.  I got my first set of press credential through Tennis-X at Indianapolis 2008.  The first match I covered was Gilles Simon d. Sam Querrey in a tight 3 set semifinal class.  In 2009, Querrey reached the Indianapolis final.  Querrey playing tomorrow for a slot in the US Open semifinals means he has been with me from the start.
