Predicted Winners in BOLD

[8] Nick Kyrgios (AUS) vs. Mischa Zverev (GER) – This is a classic Kyrgios trap match.  If he plays with poise, he should win.  The older Zverev will attack often enough giving Kyrgios a chance to lose his way.  I think Kyrgios wins, but I see this as a 55-45 match.

[3] Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) vs. [WC] Juan Martin del Potro (ARG) – If Dimitrov is in his Januray February form or his Cincinnati form, he will win.  I think JMDP is less likely to play a poor match though.

[Q] Steve Darcis (BEL) vs. [Q] Dusan Lajovic (SRB) – One qualifier will pick up quite a few points and likely avoid needing to qualify quite as often in the future.
