Predicted Winners in BOLD

Alexandr Dolgopolov (UKR) vs. Steve Johnson (USA) – Both men were raised around tennis, but their commitment to strategy is a bit different.  I’ll pick Johnson if solely for the moustache.

Richard Gasquet (FRA) vs. Yen-Hsun Lu (TPE) – I’ll take Gasquet despite always getting Lu’s matches wrong.

[4] David Goffin (BEL) vs. [Q] Matthew Ebden (AUS) – Goffin is on a roll.  Overplaying could be a concern as he is coming back from an injury.

[3] Milos Raonic (CAN) vs. Yuichi Sugita (JPN) – Milos could serve like a Kaiju even if recovering from an injury.
